Limit your liability and avoid extra costs by choosing a coverage option. By choosing extra options online, you benefit from the best pricing.
Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection (CDWTP) reduces liability in the event of damage or theft of the vehicle when no responsible third party is identified. If purchased or included in the rate, the excess for the car categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate and Full-Size is 900 EUR, and for the car categories Premium and Luxury, it is 1200 EUR.
This product only covers damage to the body of the vehicle. It does not cover the roof, tyres, rims or windows, broken/loss of keys or contamination of fuel. Damage to the underbody and/or roof due to collision with bridges, tunnels, overhanging structures etc. is excluded from the damage cover unless force majeure can be proved.
Before purchasing CDWTP, it is advisable to determine if the renter's personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If CDWTP is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. CDWTP is not insurance.
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it was collected from will be subject to a one-way fee. The one-way fee varies based on car category, location and pick-up date. For all one-way rentals (domestic or international), authorisation must be obtained either prior to arrival or at the rental counter. If the renter returns the vehicle one way without authorisation or returns the vehicle to any other location than the return location reflected on their rental agreement, an additional repatriation fee will be charged.
Domestic one-way drop-offs are available between Alamo/Enterprise/National rental branches in the Netherlands.
International one-way drop-offs are possible at selected airports and railway station branches in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany and Luxembourg only.
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel. As a customer, you have a choice as to how you pay for fuel:
Option 1 – We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay Enterprise/Alamo/National at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. Price per litre is 3.57 EUR incl. VAT (21%).
Option 2 – You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid extra fuel charges.
